June is one of Tuscany's best travel months! You can expect average temperatures of 80° F / 27° C during the day and cooling down to 59° F / 15° C at night.
There are three international airports that you can travel into - Pisa, Florence or Rome. You can find more details on the Travel & Accommodation page. The best way to travel to Tuscany is to rent a car. Please reach out if you need any car rental recommendations. You're in for a beautiful drive through the countryside!
Unfortunately, there are no standard taxi services and all cars need to be pre-booked. If you choose to stay at one of our blocked hotels, we will be providing shuttle transportation to and from the wedding on Saturday, June 11th.
Our wedding will be an adults-only affair on Friday and Saturday and we'll only be including our niece and nephew in the festivities. For these two nights please keep your kids at home or make arrangements for a babysitter. The farewell brunch on Sunday will be very casual and everyone is welcome to bring along their little ones!
It turns out terminology for dress codes varies greatly across countries, so what should you pack? Throughout the entire weekend, we want you to channel your best Tuscan vibes! For the gents: Friday you'll need a shirt & slacks but can leave the tie at home. Saturday is the time to get spiffy with a suit or jacket and tie. For the ladies: you know what to do! All of our events will be on grass, so sandals, wedges or block heels are suggested. Sunday will be casual, so bring something that you can comfortably sip a mimosa in :)
