We really want to say yes, but unfortunately no, please leave the pups at home.

what should I wear?

Answer

Our theme is abalone shell, so the vibe is beachy, formal, and funky! Word to the wise, if you want to wear heels, make sure you can walk on uneven ground in them! This is a ranch, not a resort. It can get chilly at night, so if you anticipate dancing late into the evening with us, bring a jacket.

Parking and Transport

Answer

There will be very limited parking available at the venue as we will be accommodating people at the residence as well. If you must drive, please be a homie and carpool with other guests. We highly recommend utilizing the shuttle service we hired, and parking at one of the shuttle pick up/ drop off locations : - Sea Ranch Lodge (2 PM pick up) - Gualala Baptist church SBC (2:30 PM and 3PM pick up) The shuttle will run twice, once from Sea Ranch and twice from Gualala so please be on time! Shuttles will depart the venue at 9:30 PM and 10 PM (last shuttle is the only shuttle drop off to Sea Ranch) Also, if you wish to take a taxi/uber/lyft we suggest booking in advance, this is a fairly rural area.

whats the bar situation?

Answer

We will provide champagne, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and wine. We encourage guests to bring a spirit of choice to share for the night, as we will also have mixers available.

Whats the venue like?

Answer

We are so lucky and grateful to be able to host our wedding at the private residence built and owned by our good friends, the Ratcliffe family. The Ranch just celebrated its centennial birthday in 2025, and we couldn't be more honored to be the first couple to be married there. Please remeber while you are celebrating with us that this is not a professional venue, and to treat the premises with respect. This location means the world to not only us, but also the family that has allowed us to share it for our special day.

Whats for dinner?

Answer

We plan on having a buffet-style Mediterranean feast and will be accounting for various dietary restrictions. Something for everyone! Vegan, veggie, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free options. If you think of anything else, please let us know.
