Split Airport (SPU)

Hvar is an island in the Adriatic Sea about an hour by boat from the nearest commercial airport in Split, Croatia. Hvar is also about 4 hours by ferry from Dubrovnik if you are interested in travelling there either before or after our wedding. From Split, you can either take a water taxi directly from the Split airport or a ferry from Split Harbor (about 40 minutes taxi drive from the airport) to Hvar town harbor. There are two harbors on the Island of Hvar, so please make sure to book your transport to Hvar town and not Stari Grad. We would love to have all of our wedding guests attend our rehearsal festivities, which begin on August 3rd at 4PM. When booking travel, please keep in mind that most itineraries will put you into Hvar in the late afternoon - we definitely recommend arriving a day ahead of time. We know this isn't the easiest wedding to attend, and we are so grateful to all of our family and friends for making the trip to celebrate with us!

We will be staying at Amfora Hvar, which is the closest hotel to our wedding reception venue. Please feel free to contact us for recommendations on places - we do suggest booking sooner rather than later as the good ones tend to go early!

There are a few options for travelling from Split Airport to Hvar. We recommend either the catamaran ferry, a water taxi, or a boat transfer.
