It was December 31, 2014. Sarah-Joan was visiting Colorado. She was headed to a New Year's Eve concert with friends, who happened to bring along another one of their friends: Brett. Was it love at first sight? Our 20-something selves would agree there was definitely a spark, but our future remained in the distance. After all, Sarah lived in NYC and Brett lived in Denver. Three years later in 2017, Sarah moved to Denver. Upon a night out with the same mutual friends, Sarah and Brett rekindled. That's when it was love ever since. Now it's 2024, ten years after our first encounter and countless memories and adventures together. It's finally time to get married and, call us crazy, have a baby! Our son, Charlie James “CJ” Harker, was born March 29, 2024. We can't wait to celebrate "all things life" with you this summer!
