Celia was Sara's first friend in PT school and they quickly became two peas in a pod. In Celia's eyes, Sara could do no wrong...ever. Fun fact- Sara and Celia's favorite cake flavor is strawberry, they both have an astigmatism, both visited chiropractors that misdiagnosed them in childhood, and they both had surgery on their right knee. #TwinFlame
Riley
Best Man
One of Justin's oldest friends, Riley and Justin met at 12 years old at a hockey camp in Peterborough, Ontario. They unexpectedly met again at a tournament in Finland the next year, being selected to play for the same team, only for a few months later to learn that they will be attending the Canadian International Hockey Academy together without knowing about each other's applications. You could say that the friendship was fated. Did we also mention that they are also born 4 days apart? What a coincidence!
Ashlyn

Sara met Ashlyn in PT school, but became close friends as they walked to and from classes together every day while Ashlyn shared tips on how to survive Vermont weather. Some of Sara's favorite memories with Ashlyn include precarious drives to Northern VT to go sledding at Hayleigh's house, finding out they both love the artist Sleep Token, and introducing Ashlyn to Wawa.

Justin's brother and occasional arch nemesis, Josh is always there to remind Justin of who is the superior sibling.
Gabby
Bridesmaid
Sara and Gabby both trained under the same coach and often saw each other at the ice rink. They became fast friends bonding over stuffed animals, 80s music, and being insanely silly. The two of them were inseparable once Gabby started online school, spending their days and nights together which usually included Sara trying to help Gabby with homework, eating Magnum double caramel ice cream bars, and lots of snapchat filters.
Sebastien

Justin's oldest friend, Sebastien and Justin's friendship stem from their first time in "class" together at the age of 3. A former hockey teammate of Justin's and longtime fishing buddy, he is certainly going to show the groomsmen a great time!
Hayleigh

Sara and Hayleigh share a love for Taylor Swift, cookies with ice cream, hot pilates, singing in the car, and making up the most ridiculous mnemonics whilst studying. One of Sara's favorite memories of their friendship (outside of their 60+ sleepovers) is when she convinced Hayleigh to run a 5k in the rain and then got Taco Bell afterwards.

The first friend Justin made after moving to the United States, Tom & Justin have done everything together from playing hockey, to trekking the mountain rivers and streams of New York. The life of the party, Tom knows how to show everyone a good time!
Renae

Sara and Renae's friendship is the longest of the group, spanning about 15 years! As you could imagine, they have seen each other through a lot- from being 13 year olds trying on 5 inch high heels at Payless to online high school to supporting each other earning their doctorates. Fun fact- after Sara got her pilot's license, she flew Renae around South Florida!

Part of the original UVM DPT Boyfriend/Fiancé support group, Tristan and Justin helped each other navigate the difficulties associated with morally supporting DPT students trying to graduate. Surviving this ordeal has made them great friends!
Rachel

We really did save the best for last! One of Sara's favorite Rachel memories is their 10 mile run yap sessions in freezing Vermont weather. She is a very stylish doctor who will absolutely dominate anyone in basketball... and they can officiate weddings! Rachel is great. We love Rachel.
