Where should we park?

Answer

There is a gravel turnaround leading up to the cabin, so along the turnaround would work fine!

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in the same location. Please feel free to change into more comfortable clothes after the short ceremony. Central Oregon does get windy in the evenings so a light jacket might be helpful!

Is it open bar?

Answer

Sort of! We will supply wine, champagne, beer and other non-alcoholic beverages. We plan to have a serve-yourself margarita bar as well.

How formal should I dress?

Answer

We want our guests to dress like they’re coming to a summer outdoor wedding! It is not going to be formal, the theme is more or less “Boho”, so whatever that means to you works fine for us.

What is the venue?

Answer

The venue is an Airbnb rental! It is a cabin on 40 acres outside of Bend surrounded by state parks and BLM land. NO SMOKING! :)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We have so many nieces and nephews and the wedding would never be the same without them!

Will there be transportation from the venue to our hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately there will not be transportation provided. Uber/Lyft are great options! We also can have some guests set up a tent on the property if needed! We have the cabin for the weekend.

What are the food options?

Answer

We will provide a smorgasbord of appetizers and finger foods, the bridal party is going to be providing picnic-style sides, and the bride’s father will be cooking up beef brisket on the Traeger!

When is the party over?

Answer

The DJ will pack up and go home at 9pm, at which point we plan to have a bonfire with s’mores. At 10pm quiet hours commence so those who are brave enough to hang around will be invited inside for more shenanigans!

Will there be lodging?

Answer

Unfortunately the Airbnb only has 2 beds so it is not going to be used as lodging. If you are into camping you are welcome to set up a tent on the grounds so you don’t have to drive to your hotel. We have the whole property rented from Friday night until Sunday at 11am. If you are having trouble finding a place to stay please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will help you figure it out!
