Jacob and Cassie met as students at Ithaca College in 2017 and quickly became inseparable, creating countless memories alongside their friends who helped shape those 4 years. It wasn’t until their senior year, though, that they finally recognized what had been right in front of them all along when Jacob asked Cassie to be his girlfriend just a few months before graduation. After graduation, life briefly took them in different directions. Jacob moved to Philadelphia to pursue his dream job with the Flyers, while Cassie began collecting clinical hours in NY on her path to PA school. They spent a year navigating long distance, cheering each other on through new routines, long workdays, and ambitious goals. After that year apart, they finally closed the distance and moved in together in Old City on a charming little block called Strawberry Street that quickly felt like home. There, they adopted two rescue cats from Alabama, Mac & Camellia, and built their sweet little family. Since then, Cassie has become a Physician Assistant and Jacob has continued to grow in his career with the Flyers. Through PA school, late nights, and every joyful moment in between, they supported one another every step of the way. In May 2025, during a trip to the Bahamas, their story took its sweetest turn yet. Surrounded by turquoise water and warm island breezes, Jacob got down on one knee. It was the easiest yes for Cassie. It was a moment they’ll never forget and marked the start of their next chapter together. Now, as they look ahead to August 7, 2026, Jacob and Cassie cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story with the people who have loved and supported them along the way. They always say you should marry your best friend - and they feel incredibly grateful that they get to do exactly that.
