We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with you by the water, a place that has always felt like home to us. Nick grew up near the Atlantic Ocean in Massachusetts and spent summers camping with his family at Chewonki Campground on the Montsweag River in Maine, while Kelly grew up along Lake Michigan and spent summers at her grandpa’s lake house in northern Wisconsin. We met in Boston and quickly realized how much we shared a love for the outdoors and being near the water. Hiking, exploring the city, and kayaking together became some of our favorite ways to connect. One of our most memorable moments was when Nick first said “I love you” after a kayaking trip, a moment that reflected how the water has always connected us. Now living in Wisconsin, it feels especially meaningful to celebrate at The Commodore on Nagawicka Lake, surrounded by the kind of natural beauty that has always connected us.
