Ok... So before Jeff double messaged me on Tinder, it took me a good half an hour to consider if I should swipe left or right on this guy. I am glad I made the right choice! On our first date, in his brown leather jacket, Jeff walked up the ramp of a parking lot after he had already sat down and ordered a drink because I was so lost finding the entrance of the restaurant. Half way through dinner, I had already learned that this guy have similar family background with me, a decent job, homeowner, soloed the Mendelssohn Piano Concerto with his high school orchestra and was principal second violinist in Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra. I thought at that time that he was definitely marriage material, and since that day, he hasn’t given me a single reason to prove my theory wrong.
In my initial exchange with Sissi, she had let on that she was a violinist. In my head, this could have gone one of two ways-- either Sissi busked for a living or was a classically trained violinist. I guessed the latter and thank goodness I was right. At this point I knew I could proceed in courting my future wife. From the get-go, Sissi was very direct. Early on she had informed me that she was crazy, clingy, possessive, and Chinese Chinese; talk about red flags (the ones with 5 yellow stars)! Turns out she just meant she was a girl from China, a girl that shares my love of travel, food, light outdoor activities, watching mindless TV, and of course, Freddie. The Mega Millions and Powerball may be out of reach, but I've certainly hit the lottery with this one.
