Where it all began! The Masonry has our favorite Caesar salad, pizza is so very delicious, and the selection of beer is pretty unique. There is also a new location in Fremont.
A neat park overlooking the city, very much a local spot, tucked into the neighborhood so many people think the entrance is a driveway vs a park. This was our "proposal" park.
Walk along Elliott Bay and take in the beautiful views of the Puget Sound and Olympic mountains! This park is where we met that special summer day and also in the cold wet Seattle winter under an umbrella in the pouring rain we had our first kiss, how PNW is that?
Right along with Myrtle Edwards park there is also the sculpture park, definitely a Seattle must see, and it flows nicely together so it really a two for one opportunity! If you are feeling ambitious continue on to the water front and the great wheel.
Why not try out the Seattle GREAT WHEEL! Very interesting views of the city, it goes around a few times before they kick you off but there is a fun photo booth before the send you up and if you where Kelly green you disappear in the back drop.
Hands down one of our favorite parks, there are amazing views of the Puget Sound, a light house, miles of trails, historic buildings, and a nature center. This is definitely a great place to feel out of the city and take in the beauty of the PNW.
Stunning neighborhood with a fantastic view, definitely a great place to see especially if you go to Discovery park or want to have an excellent photo op or watch the cruise ships take off to sea around 4 pm.
Our favorite go to steak house, Jak's is delicious and unlike some steak houses where everything is a'la cart at Jak's they include the whole meal (meat, potato choice, veggie, salad and bread) in the price. An excellent deal if you are in the market for steak or a nice dinner.
Hands down my FAVORITE Thai restaurant in our neighborhood, and we have a lot. I even turned Vince into a fan.
The most iconic picture spot in Seattle, on a great day you can even see Mt. Rainier, this street is also amazing to walk down and if you go west stop by Parson's Garden, a secret oasis park that not everyone sees but it is not something you want to miss.
West of Kerry Park and adjacent from Parson's Garden, Betty Bowen view point is a great place to sit and relax and take in the beauty of the PNW. If you are up for it continue down the boulevard for more beautiful views and a stunning neighborhood.
This place is a tourist hot spot, crafts, shops, food, souvenirs, fish throwing, fresh produce, live entertainment (buskers), the first Starbucks and more! Wonderful place to visit, be prepared for crowds but you have to go at least once in your life!
Fremont, they say is the center of the universe... It is a neat neighborhood with many hidden gems, including this troll! You gotta get a photo with it!
This is the local market that is open rain or shine every Sunday, with antique treasures, handmade goodies and great food trucks. Definitely a fun place to check out if you are in town on Sunday and want to buy something. Sienna used to sell her jewelry here and hopes to again in the future.
This little gem is an excellent Thai restaurant and despite the hole in the wall appearance and possible long wait times, it is worth the wait. While here in the neighborhood you can check out the beautiful UW campus, Vince's Alma mater.
