Jorge and Siri met on one of the last places they ever expected to find their future spouse: Tinder. In an attempt to cast a wide net and thanks to some cosmic and algorithmic luck, Siri and Jorge matched on 11/30/2021. Siri would like to inform everyone that she swiped right first.

Our first date was at Wakame Sushi Bistro in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was Jorge's idea, and Siri was almost too nervous to finish her California Roll, much to Jorge's chagrin. Luckily, he set his concern aside and decided to ask for a second date!

On their way to pick up the keys to their first apartment in a historic, elevator-less apartment, Siri tripped and fractured her ankle, forcing them to cancel their planned trip to the Dominican Republic. Thank goodness for miles refunds!

Jorge began working on designing a ring for Siri in late 2023. Even though Siri accidently found out the date Jorge would be proposing, she was still surprised when Jorge got down on one knee in her family's home surrounded by many loved ones. It was the easiest "yes" ever!
