How do I RSVP? When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP on this website. Go to the "RSVP" tab and search for your invitation. Please complete your RSVP prior to September 16th.

Sam & Derek would like this to be a formal event. Come dressed to impress!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The Ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm. Please be there early to grab a beverage and a seat. We would recommend arriving around 2:30pm. Please check the "Schedule" tab of this website for more details.

I am traveling to the event, where should I stay?

Answer

There is a block of hotel rooms available for our guests at the Hampton Inn Wausau. Please find additional information under the "Travel" tab of this website.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. However, Northwoods Cab is available to provide affordable rides to and from the venue all day and all night. Book your ride by calling Northwoods Cab at 715-393-7788 and specify you are with the Sippy Monday Wedding at Rib River.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside at Rib River Ballroom, while the dinner reception and party will be inside. If weather does not allow for an outdoor ceremony, there is a backup plan to have both the ceremony and reception inside the Ballroom.

What's for dinner? What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Dinner will be a buffet style meal of Dijon pork loin, beef tips, wild rice pilaf, green beans, coleslaw, and dinner rolls. Assorted desserts will also be available. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to make special dinner accommodations. Please plan accordingly if you may need to!

Will there be an open bar? Can I bring my own drinks?

Answer

Domestic tap beer, soda, and water will be provided at no cost. All other beverages will be available at the full bar. CARRY IN BEVERAGES ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES.

Will I be allowed to take photos/videos?

Answer

Please do not bring out your cell phones or cameras during the ceremony. A professional photography/videography group will be present; they will capture this moment! After the ceremony into the reception though, take all the pictures you want, just be sure to share your photos with the couple!

I can't make it, but I want to share my support, what can I do?

Answer

The couple would appreciate messages from all of their friends and family, whether they can make it or not. There will be a virtual audio guestbook available for guests and loved ones to leave messages for the couple. Check back later for the details on how to leave a messages for the couple! If you are feeling particularly generous you will find links to their online registries under the "Registry" tab of this website. All messages and/or gifts are more than appreciated!
