In the fall of 2014, we both found ourselves Tigertown Bound coming from opposite ends of the east coast. Strangely enough, we had a mutual friend who decided to put us in a group chat our first week and insisted that we meet. Neither of us answered, we were both too embarrassed and didn't want to look like we were desperate for friends! We don't remember who ended up reaching out first but we eventually met and spent our first year doing nearly everything together. And then I fell in love with my best friend...

We were in Nantucket for an end of summer weekend trip with Jeremy's parents. Olivia was slammed with work, but Jeremy kept insisting that she go to the lunch reservations after Josh and Regan arrive on Friday. Just before we left the boat we found out the flight had been delayed so lunch was pushed back. Jeremy said we were still leaving but wouldn't say where we were going. We ended up walking through town and out to Brant Point Lighthouse. We were just about to the end of the road when it started pouring! Olivia was in a white dressing begging Jeremy to turn around. After huddling next to a shed for a few minutes, the rain finally let up so Jeremy had us quickly run out onto the beach. Poor Jeremy was so flustered by the rain he dropped down on one knee almost immediately and of course Olivia said yes! Afterwards the amazing Emily Elisabeth Photography popped out of the bushes (she's a real trooper) and snapped some photos that we will cherish forever. Then we went to lunch at the White Elephant (when the sun decided to come out - you have to love Nantucket weather). Little did Olivia know, the delayed flight not only had Josh and Regan on it, but also Olivia's entire family! Poor Jeremy tried to stall as long as he could, he went as far as telling Olivia he had a zoom call set up which is why she couldn't call her mom. We finally walked into the airbnb (just moments after everyone arrived) and there everyone was! Best weekend ever! (and major props to Jeremy)
