When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The celebration is scheduled to start at 1pm and end at 6pm, but you should feel free to arrive anytime during that window and stay as long as you'd like.

Where should I park?

Answer

We'll have a couple of parking options with signs posted so you'll know where to turn in. There is space for a few cars at the house (where the party is), with overflow parking just up the road at Otwell Miller Academy (9958 E County Rd 150 N, Otwell, IN 47564). Attendants will help shuttle folks between overflow parking and the house.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No dress code—this is a casual event, so wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Indiana's June weather can be unpredictable, but we're hoping for a warm, sunny day! If you choose to swim, please bring a towel.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We'll have a coloring station and some outdoor games set up for kids of any age, and the pool will be open. All guests are welcome to swim; however, we ask that you keep a close eye on your kids when they're in or around the pool.

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes—please contact Lindsey (contact info above). While we can't promise we'll be able to accommodate all requests, we'll certainly try. (Rather than a full meal, we’ll have “heavy appetizers” and some sweets available.)

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes—follow the Travel link at the top of the page for information on hotels in the area.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the celebration?

Answer

No, nor is there public transit in the area, unfortunately. Because we want everyone to have a great time AND get home safely, we ask that if you choose to raise a glass or two with us at the celebration, you do so responsibly and arrange for someone to drive you if needed. Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We've chosen to do a cash registry only, options for which you can find by following the Registry link at the top of the page. While we are grateful for any gift you'd like to give us, a cash gift is the most helpful to us right now—we're planning to move in the not-too-distant future and are waiting to purchase any new home goods. All that said, please know that just having you celebrate with us on June 3 would be the best gift of all!
