FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is preferred, but the most important thing is that everyone is dressed for dancing! Dresses, suits, jumpsuits, and snazzy outfits you feel great in are all welcome! Please note that the ceremony and social hour will take place outdoors, so footwear suitable for frolicking in the grass is recommended. Wes and Sionnain will be wearing maroon and forest green. Because certain attendees (including Sionnain and Wes) have sensitivities to fragrances, we also prefer that guests refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, social hour, and reception are all taking place at Cliffside Acres in Springfield, Ohio. Springfield is about 30 minutes from Dayton and 50 minutes from Columbus. For more details, please visit the Schedule and Accommodations sections of this website!

Question

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Yes, Cliffside acres is accessible. There are portions of the festivities that will be held outdoors in a grassy area, but the terrain is flat. The area where the ceremony will be held is well-kept and is just steps from Cliffside's driveway. If you have any requests, questions, or concerns, please contact Wes and Sionnain and we are happy to work with you and the venue to ensure accessibility.

Question

Can I park at the venue? What if I don't want to drive?

Answer

There is free parking at the venue for anyone who wishes to use it. We will also be providing a shuttle service to/from the hotel block and the venue.

Question

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

In celebration of Wes' sobriety and the sobriety of many others in attendance we will not be serving alcohol. Get ready to sip on custom mocktails, seltzer, soda, and other deliciousness as we dance the night away!

Question

What COVID precautions should I take as a guest?

Answer

For the safety of all of our guests, but especially those who are older and/or immunocompromised, we are asking that everyone in attendance gets a negative PCR test or at least two negative rapid tests before the wedding. Because so many of our guests are traveling from out of state, we also urge you to practice caution while traveling (i.e. masking while flying or in crowded rest stops or travel hubs). We want as many of our loved ones as possible to be in attendance at our wedding, and it will be much safer and more enjoyable for everyone if we don't have to worry about getting sick!
