One of Beacon's most famous attractions is Dia: Beacon. It's a contemporary art museum in an old printing factory featuring notable works by John Serra and Donal Judd, among others.

Art gallery featuring handmade glass pieces where you can watch glassblowing demonstrations in the studio.

Mount Beacon Trailhead

Hike up Mt. Beacon for some great views. Trailhead is across the street from Bob Mountain Grocery.

Washburn Trail

Another great hiking option 10 minute drive from Beacon.

Long Dock Park

Just south of the Beacon train station, this is a popular place to kayak and picnic near the Hudson River.

Explore Main Street

If you just feel like wandering, Main Street is home to the majority of Beacon's shops, restaurants and boutiques. We recommend starting at the Roundhouse and making your way across town -- it's approximately 1 mile in length and particularly fun if you love vintage and antique shopping!
