FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 10:00am. Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The ceremonies dress code is your Sunday best. The dress code for the reception is dressy-casual. It is a fun, backyard bbq/pot-luck vibe! But we are in Maine and the weather can get chilly so bring layers! It is also being held in the grass so choose your footwear accordingly. Please take the time between the ceremony and the start of the reception to dress comfortably and appropriately for the occasion.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations.

Question

Where To Buy Grocery’s/Wine, Beer, and Liqour

Answer

Bayside is the grocery store in the center of Milbridge, only a few minutes from the Red Barn motel. They sell all your household and kitchen needs as well as liquor, wine, and beer. That is the best place to stock up for the weekend and to purchase any additional libations you may want for the reception. 35 Maint St, Milbridge, ME, 04658

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking at the ceremony. There will be very limited parking available at the reception. We encourage you to carpool or use a ridesharing service. We are also working on providing a shuttle from downtown to the reception property. Details for that service are to come, so please check back as time goes on!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Question
