Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

For Saturday evening, we recommend “camp chic”—semi-formal/cocktail attire with sand and grass-friendly shoes. Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will be indoors. Friday night campfire and Sunday brunch are casual. Above is a sample packing list for anyone staying the weekend.

Question

Can we hang out at the camp if we’re not staying there?

Answer

Yes, please do! The camp has tennis and basketball courts with equipment, an open waterfront for swimming and boating, and archery. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, there are plenty of indoor spaces for games and hanging out. Friday and Saturday evening we’ll have late-night campfires and s’mores. On Sunday, everyone is invited to brunch at the camp from 9-10 am.

Question

What time should we come to the camp?

Answer

If you are staying overnight at Camp Cody, you’re welcome to check into your cabin starting at 4 pm on Friday or anytime on Saturday. All guests are welcome at the camp on Friday night for campfire and s’mores starting at 8 pm. On Saturday, come by anytime! We have a schedule of optional activities, and the waterfront, courts, and fields are open all day. The camp has boats, balls, rackets, etc. that you are welcome to use. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 pm, so please plan to arrive before then.

Question

Are there places to get food near the camp?

Answer

Are there places to grab food near the camp? There are a handful of good food options near Camp Cody, including Hobb’s Tavern, Yankee Smokehouse, Farm to Table, Jake’s Seafood and Grill, and Rosie’s. North Conway, which is a 30-minute drive from the Camp, has lots of restaurants, shopping, and other activities. *Please be aware that the only meals served to guests staying at camp will be brunch, cocktail hour, and reception dinner on Saturday as well as brunch on Sunday. Dinner Friday evening will not be provided.

Question

Can I plan on using Uber to get to/from Camp Cody?

Answer

No, it is highly unlikely you’ll be able to get an uber or other rideshare on Saturday, so please make sure you have a plan to get to/from Camp Cody for the ceremony and reception. There is plenty of space to park if you’d like to drive.

Question

Anything else I need to know?

Answer

Camp Cody is a nut-free facility. If you bring any food to the camp, please make sure it doesn’t contain nuts.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love to have your children at our wedding, but due to our large guest count, we are only allowing children of immediate family and wedding party members to attend.
