We met in Chicago when I was traveling for a Latino Leadership conference through my University. Tony's cousin, Ivone, invited him to the Sheraton hotel to hang out and we locked eyes in the lobby. Since then, we spent many nights talking on the phone and getting to know each other before making it official in May.

We randomly decided to take a fun trip to Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden & Norway). We were walking around on top of Bergen, Norway's tallest Mountain - Mt. Ulriken. After a half hour, I began asking Tony if he was ready to go back down since it was FREEZING up there, but he requested a little more time to enjoy the scenery. After the 3rd time I asked him if he was ready, he finally said 'yes, but one more thing first'....he knelt down, told me how much he loved me, and asked if I would be his wife. We are SO excited to get married. See you in Mexico!
