Indiana Dunes National Park
Indiana Dunes is one of our favorite places in Northwest Indiana. While it may be a little chilly to swim, the Dunes State and National Parks offer great hiking, a beautiful view of the lake, and a fun place to explore!
County Line Orchard
County Line Orchard offers a corn maze, apple picking (season depending), a pumpkin patch, hay rides, and more fun family activities. Don't miss their apple donuts!
Albanese Candy Factory Outlet
A fun stop for the family, Albanese Candy Factory is a great place to pick up a sweet treat and take a peek behind the curtain on how candy is made. A fan favorite is definitely their chocolate-covered gummy bears!
Downtown Lafayette Historic District
Our wedding will be located right next to the Historic Downtown District of Lafayette, IN. Take a stroll down the beautiful main street, check out some local businesses (Beth's favorite is Flora Candle), local restaurants and bars (Digby's and the Black Sparrow are among the couple's favorites), or the oldest bar in Indiana, the Knickerbocker Saloon.

While they won’t be offering tours during the wedding weekend, if you’re spending extra time in Lafayette, we highly recommend scheduling a private tour with Preserve Historic Lafayette. This incredible group has played a key role in preserving downtown Lafayette and is made up of passionate experts in local history and architecture — it’s a fun and fascinating way to explore the city’s hidden gems!
Wolf Park
Wolf Park offers daily tours and a "Night Howl" so you can see the wolves and the local nature preserve like never before!
Fort Ouiatenon
For Ouiatenon is located just outside Lafayette. With the Block House Museum, hiking, and a large park, it's a great place to be outside and explore!
