We’re getting married!

We met at the turnaround on a Wednesday night service! This was Evan's first official day in Hugoton as part of the community. I (Kate) told my mom that the pastor's son was moving to town and she immediately asked if I thought he was cute and of course I said yes! We started hanging out a few days after the Wednesday night service. Talking, getting to know each other, cruising around Hugoton (because that's all you can do here lol). When we were hanging out, there asked me on a date and we went to an escape room in Garden City. A few days after that he accompanied me to my class in Wichita (which was very sweet of him to do) and there he asked me to be his girlfriend (8/17/18)! In the month of June, we planned a trip to Denver, CO to see Hillsong United in concert. There, Evan told me he was going to propose, he only told me that because we had to cancel the trip. The reason why we had to cancel the trip was because, we got invited to Monterey, CA on a family trip to see Mason, Melanee and newly born, Everlee. Before we left for California, Evan told me he had a whole day planned for my birthday. Which he spilled the beans on one of the events lol. We went kayaking in the ocean and biking around Pacific Grove! That whole day lead up to the proposal!
