The old fashion way - - a dating app! Thank heavens for Hinge. Matt gave Kristin a chance because she listed cribbage as one of her favorite games (both come from cribbage-playing kin!) and noted that she'd opt to have an entire Super Bowl party spread as her final meal if given the choice. Kristin swiped right on Matt because he noted his interest in cooking, sports, dogs, and living near the water. It took three (very interesting) dates for them to click, but then it was off to the races!

After Kristin and Matt lived together for a year, spending 6 of those months renovating his house, successfully selling his house, shipping all of their collective belongings down to Pensacola, and moving into his parents' basement - Matt decided it was time to propose! He popped the big question during a vacation in Lake Tahoe, CA with a sizable portion of Kristin's family looking on. With all of her earthly possessions split between Matt's parents' house and a shared storage pod in Pensacola, Kristin decided to say yes. She was and is head over heels in love. Their rescue pup Brody couldn't be more excited.
