How will we get around Antigua? | ¿Cómo nos desplazaremos por Antigua?

Answer

Antigua is a very small town full of culture, history and places to eat. You have the option of walking (please note, majority of the town is cobble stone), ordering an Uber or take a Tuc Tuc (small taxi) anywhere in the town! Antigua es una ciudad llena de cultura, historia y lugares para comer. Tienes la opción de caminar (por favor notar que la mayoría de la ciudad es adoquines), ordenar un Uber o tomar un Tuc Tuc (un taxi pequeño) a cualquier lado de la ciudad!

Can I bring my kids? | Puedo llevar a mis hijos?

Answer

We definitely recommend bringing your kids on this trip as we know they will have so much fun! However, our wedding will be a 15yr+ event. Child care will be offered at a small fee with trusted sitters recommended to us for that night. Below you can find their phone number. Enjoy the night off! Recomendamos que traigas a tus hijos en tu viaje a que sabemos que se van a divertir! Sin embargo, nuestra boda será un evento de edades de 15años+. When should I RSVP by? | Cuando debo confirmar mi asistencia?

We request that you please rsvp to each event by January 15th 2025. Go to the menu on this site and click on RSVP, enter you last name and answer the questions provided. If there is no response in the rsvp, we will assume you will not be joining us. Pedimos que por favor confirmes tu asistencia para cada evento antes del 15 de Enero 2025. Ve al menú en esta página, selecciona RSVP, ingresa tu apellido y contesta las preguntas presentadas. Si no confirmas por nuestro sitio, asumiremos que no nos estarás acompañando.

This is a formal event, so dress to impress! **Important note for anyone wearing heels: a few parts of the floor at Conceptio are very uneven. We recommend block heels to prevent any falls or injuries. Este es un evento formal, vístete para impresionar! ** Nota importante para las personas con tacones: unas partes del suelo en Conceptio no son parejas. Recomendamos tacón grueso para prevenir caídas o golpes.

Currency exchange | Cambio de divisas

Answer

Currency in Guatemala is called Quetzales. Fun fact: a Quetzal is the country’s national bird! We recommend exchanging your currency, if possible before your trip or at an ATM. Some places in Antigua accept USD, however, having Quetzales on hand will be convenient for the places that do not. Divisa en Guatemala son Quetzales. Un dato divertido: el Quetzal es la ave nacional del país! Recomendamos hacer el cambio antes de tu viaje, si es posible. Unos lugares en Antigua si aceptan el dólar estadounidense, pero sería más conveniente si tuvieras Quetzales a mano para los lugares que no aceptan el dólar.

Make sure you do not forget the following items: Your passport (very important), comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle, bug repellent, and any necessary medications. We also recommend downloading WhatsApp and making an account, this will help us all communicate better on our trip. Asegúrate que no se te olvide lo siguiente: Tu pasaporte (bien importante), zapatos confortables, protector solar, una botella para agua, repelente de insectos, y medicamentos necesarios. También te recomendamos descargar la aplicación de WhatsApp y hacer una cuenta. Esto nos ayudaría mucho en nuestra comunicación durante nuestro viaje.
