-Wedding ceremony is outdoors at the beautiful 40-acre Vineyard in Cannon River Valley -Cocktail hour post-ceremony and reception are indoors at the Cannon Falls Winery

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttles will run from the following hotel blocks: -GrandStay Hotel in Cannon Falls - shuttle will pick up guests at 2:30PM -GrandStay Hotel in Hastings - shuttle will pick up guests at 2:15PM -The Confluence Hotel in Hastings - shuttle will pick up guests at 2:00PM

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive to the Cannon Falls Winery by 2:45 PM. Shuttles will then transport guests from the Cannon Falls Winery to the outdoor wedding ceremony location at the Vineyard. There is NO parking at the Vineyard. All guests must take the shuttle to the Vineyard either from the Cannon Falls Winery or directly from one of the hotel blocks.

What Is the dress code?

Answer

Garden party attire recommended (i.e. sundresses, floral; light hued suits). Please be aware that accessing the Vineyard for the wedding ceremony requires traversing over grass, choose your footwear accordingly!

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

All guests must take a shuttle to the wedding reception at the Vineyard. There is NO parking available. Shuttles will run from the Cannon River Winery beginning at 2:45 PM as well as the three wedding block hotels. Please stay tuned for more details regarding shuttle timing. We strongly hope that guests will leave the driving to the shuttle service to fully enjoy the wedding festivities.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

No. There is absolutely no parking allowed at the Vineyard. Shuttles will bring the guests to the Vineyard from either the three wedding block hotels or the Cannon Falls Winery. Please do not attempt to park at Vineyard, there is no parking available for guests. Shuttles will bring guests back to the Cannon Falls Winery post ceremony.

Where can guests meet for a drink before the wedding shuttles depart?

Answer

The Cannon River Winery has a tasting room with wine and beer available. There are several bars within walking distance of the shuttle departure location. Tilion Brewing, Mill Street Tavern and CannonBelles Coffee and Ice Cream are across the street.

What type of food will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Cocktail hour: Light hors d'oeuvres & complimentary drinks, hosted by Dakota, during the cocktail hour! Dinner: Served family-style featuring a tossed salad, with a choice of pulled pork or beef brisket sliders, two sides including green bean almondine and homemade mac & cheese! Dessert: CannonBelles Ice Cream Sandwiches - custom made celebration treats! Late night snack: Features Maddie's favorite, a mashed potato bar, and Josh's favorite, pretzel bites!

What are other things to do in the area?

Located in picturesque Cannon Valley, Cannon Falls and the surrounding communities offer a convenient base camp to explore hidden gems in Minnesota. Whether it’s traveling east to the stunning river town of Red Wing on the Mississippi or hiking at Nerstrand Big Woods State Park or biking on the Cannon Valley Trail (scenic paved trail running from Cannon Falls to Red Wing), or hit that shopping bug with just a short 32-mile drive to visit the world-famous Mall of America (Bloomington) or Twin Cities Premium outlets (Eagan). No visit to Cannon Falls is complete without a stop to CannonBelles Coffee & Ice cream and Tilion Brewing!

Will there be other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Join Maddie and Josh at Tilion Brewing in Cannon Falls on Friday night at 6:30PM for a wedding weekend kick-off celebration! All are invited, no need to RSVP.

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love children! However please understand that unless your child is specifically listed on the invitation sent to you, the wedding day celebrations are for adults only.

Are there wedding block hotels available and can we do an early check-in on Saturday?

Answer

Please see the Travel tab for the three wedding blocks reserved for the Sinclair/White wedding. Please reference the Sinclair/White wedding when making the reservation. Unfortunately, we have no control regarding early check-in. Summers in Minnesota are very busy with reunions, weddings, concerts, and many local events causing hotels to fill up quicker than you might expect. We recommend you book your hotel room as early as possible. Please factor in your timing that the shuttle departures from the hotels for the wedding ceremony will likely coincide with a typical hotel check in. Possible options: -Stay for the weekend to fully enjoy all the wedding festivities and check-in Friday! -Get beautified at home and drive directly to the hotel and hop on the shuttle! The shuttle will bring you back to your hotel post-reception.
