FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not listed here, please let us know!
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If you traveled with your children, we would love to have them join us for the Ceremony (and The Night Before, if you’re in town), but we have decided to host an adults-only Cocktail Hour and Reception. If you would like to arrange local childcare, we’re happy to share a recommended service below. Please reach out directly to coordinate: Janae Grice SoWalSitter Childcare on 30A vacaysitter@gmail.com 1-725-BABYSIT www.VacaySitter.com *If a few families are interested, sharing childcare services is a great option. *Please note that childcare services are not available for families staying in hotel rooms.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you have been given a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and when you go to RSVP on the website.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. For women, a dress of any length or a jumpsuit. For men, suits with or without a tie. As the ceremony will take place in a church, we kindly ask guests to be mindful when choosing their attire. The reception will take place outdoors in a garden-style setting on mixed surfaces (including pebbles and pavers), so we recommend wearing footwear with a wider heel.

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

Parking is available at both venues. The church offers ample on-site parking. The reception venue provides complimentary off-site parking less than half a mile away at 144 Clayton Lane (behind Chanticleer Eatery), along with a shuttle service to transport guests to and from their vehicles. For overnight parking, the Grayton Forest Parking Lot is located right next to the venue's lot at 117 Logan Lane. Please visit their website for current rates (up to $15 for 24-hour parking).
