Where should we stay?
Answer
The wedding will be held at the beautiful Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, and we’ve reserved a room block for our guests on Thursday & Friday. This is also where Sinclair and Michael will be staying for the weekend, so it’s the perfect home base to relax and spend time together. You can find booking details and our "Stay" page.

Where can I find your wedding registry?
Answer
We feel so grateful just to have you join us for our special day, and your presence truly is the greatest gift we could ask for. We have chosen not to create a registry and kindly request no gifts — traveling to celebrate with us means the world!

What should I wear to the wedding and weekend events?
Answer
The wedding is formal / black tie optional – tuxedos and gowns are welcome, but a dark suit or a stylish cocktail dress is perfectly appropriate. Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, so we recommend choosing footwear accordingly (block heels, wedges, or flats are great options). For the rest of the weekend, think California chic – elevated but relaxed. Sundresses, linen sets, dressy separates, and resort wear are all great choices.

What’s the weather like in Santa Barbara in late August?
Answer
Santa Barbara weather in late August is typically beautiful – warm during the day (mid-70s to low 80s°F) and cooler in the evenings (mid-50s to low 60s°F). We recommend bringing layers for the cooler evenings when spending time outdoors.

What is the parking situation at the wedding venue?
Answer
Valet parking will be available onsite for all wedding guests, so no need to worry about finding a spot. Just pull up and enjoy the evening!

How do I RSVP?
Answer
You can RSVP directly on our wedding website by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu. Please be sure to respond by DEADLINE so we can plan accordingly. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What are the plans for the day after the wedding?
Answer
Guests are warmly invited to relax and unwind at the Spa at the Bacara. Sinclair and Michael will be spending the day there and would love to see and spend time with anyone still in town. While spa treatments are not hosted, you're welcome to book your own and join us for a post wedding laid-back day.
