It all started with a simple swipe on Hinge. Becca liked a photo, Riley sent a message, and just like that, a conversation began — the kind that feels easy from the very first “hello.” What started as a few messages turned into a week of constant texting and laughing, and a maybe little social media stalking from "The Council". On June 17th, they met halfway for dinner in Wylie. From there, the texts never stopped, the laughs came naturally, and on their second date, they shared their first kiss in the most romantic of places — a Braum’s parking lot (because love stories are better with a little sweet treat). Riley said “I really want to kiss you right now”. Becca said “Do it.” So he did. By date number four, on the Fourth of July, Riley made it official. What an easy anniverary to remember! Between cheering on the Aggies at every Texas A&M football game, nights out dancing, long walks talking about everything and nothing, and their weekly Wednesday night date nights, their love grew into something special. But their lazy Sunday afternoons might be their favorite of all — Riley napping peacefully while Becca reads beside him or scrolls through Pinterest. Five days shy of 8 months, Riley popped the question. Quite the slow burn! Haha. Becca was “slightly” late to their cute date at Texas Tulips, but once they arrived, they spent nearly an hour walking through the fields, picking flowers and taking the sweetest photos. Becca was absolutely convinced this was the moment — it was too perfect not to be. But when they left for some gelato, her suspicions slowly faded. Maybe today wasn’t the day after all… Little did she know, Riley had one more stop planned. He brought her to a beautiful park area at Plano Legacy with a fountain. Before she quite knew what was happening, Riley was down on one knee asking her to spend forever with him. Hidden nearby was a photographer who captured every emotional, joy-filled second. The night didn’t end there — they headed back to his house, where their closest friends and family were waiting to surprise them with an engagement party. It was thoughtful, intentional, and overflowing with love — the perfect beginning to their next chapter.
