Maid of Honor
My cheerleader, my ride or die, my SISTER! Even though Mackenzie and I are 11 years apart, she is and has always been my closest friend. Mackenzie has quite literally been there for all of the major events in my life, good and bad. She is my confidant and the secrets we share will go to our grave. When we lost our dad almost 4 years ago, it was her that I leaned on. Losing our dad was the single most devastating moment in both of our lives and I have never been more thankful to have a sister to hold my hand. Knowing that she will always answer my call/FaceTime and never judge me is so comforting. I literally wouldn't have anyone else standing by my side as my Maid of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Janice and I have known each other for 8 years! When I decided to return to the stage, I auditioned for "The Wizard of Oz", I had no idea that I would come off that stage with a new best friend. Janice and I have a mutual love of theatre but her friendship, support and advice is absolutely invaluable. She is a constant in my life and someone I know will drop everything to help me or my girls. Auntie Janice (as the twins lovingly call her) is the type of woman that my girls can look up too. She has become a very important part of my village raising my girls and I am so blessed to have her friendship.
Bridesmaid
Lindsay and I met after she married my cousin Zach, but not only is she family, she is one of my best friends. Even though we live 2 states apart, Lindsay has always been there for me. Thanks to modern technology Lindsay and I have been able to keep in contact through Marco Polo (best invention EVER!). Ambur, Lindsay and I have pretty much been through it all together and I wouldn't have it any other way. Even though she isn't technically my sister, my girls still call her Auntie Lindsay!
Bridesmaid
Ambur and I met when she started dating my cousin, Ryan (same story with Lindsay!). She quickly became one of my best friends with her outgoing nature and loving personality. Again, the app Marco Polo made it so that even though we live 2 states away, we can still keep up with each others' lives. Ambur, Lindsay and I Marco almost every single day on the way to/from work. We use it to laugh, cry, vent, ask for advice, and just in general support each other. Ambur is usually the voice of reason in our group, giving the advice that sometimes is hard to hear...but from the most loving place. My girls call her Auntie Ambur because we are more like sisters than cousins!
Honorary Best Man
Bryan left this world much too soon, but Michael knew there is no other friend that could fill the roll of "Best Man". From over 10 plus amount of years of combined birthday parties (Swookiepalloza!) to heading to Myrtle Beach year after year Bryan and Michael were the best of friends. It is in the role of "Honorary Best Man" that Michael pays tribute Bryan since he won't be here physically with us.
Groomsman
Keet and I have been great friends since little league baseball. Even though he moved away and went to Grove City after middle school we have always stayed in touch, mainly because he showed up at our apartment in college and never left. From sharing parties, birthdays, houses to now advice on how to raise two little girls it is an honor to call Keet a groomsman and one of my best friends
Groomsman
Believe it or not Andy used to be my manager when I was just starting out working at JP Morgan Chase. From the minute we bonded over our love of World of Warcraft and all things nerdy, we knew it would be more than just typical boss employee relationship. We have remained close friends and even started a podcast together. From spending all our time together playing games, to starting a small show where we get to argue and share our opinions with the world Andy has shown me what a true friend is. He has always been available when I needed a place to go and someone to talk to. I am honored to call him a friend and to have him be a part of our special day.
Groomsman
I first met Maxx through soccer. We both played for the same team on an indoor team and there I learned that he had always been around my group of friends but never really had met. Once we met I learned it was important to keep around a good cook as a friend, being that we lived with 4 guys it was always nice to have home cooked food around. As you can imagine by reading the rest of my list we also shared a fondness of all things nerdy and pop culture, he introduced me to Dr Who of all things. He has been a loyal friend and even a part of a group chat where everyday there is some discussion on some interesting fact or trying to identify famous people by their old photos. There is never a gap when we get back together and i am truly grateful for his friendship
Groomsman
Mike and I have been friends since middle school, even if at first we didnt get along. We were both stubborn and butted heads until we realized we enjoyed just about all the same things and could easily rely on each other. He has been around for pretty much my entire life and I wouldnt trade his friendship for the world. I always tell him he reminds me of my grandfather, which is a compliment by the way, because without him I wouldnt have learned to find my own path or gained all the knowledge about how hard work is way better than paying someone to do it. I owe him so much as he has been the one to guide me in my adult life and was even the one who told me to set up a meeting with Natalie. So really I dont think I would be where I am today without him at my side.
