Third Times a Charm

Junior prom was coming up and we both needed dates, we had been in the same science class but had never spoken. That is until our mutual friend Krysta plotted for us to go together. One day after school Krysta pushed Eric into Bec and ran away and the rest is history.

It was a typical Sunday evening, we were sitting on the couch when Eric left to play with Bailey (fur baby number 2). Bailey came running up the stairs and sat on Bec's lap, while Eric went upstairs. He came down holding Millie (fur baby number 1) with something tied around her neck. With excitement Eric said "Hun, do you see what is on the kitter's neck?!?" and that is when Bec saw the ring and took Millie, Eric got down and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes.

The hard decision had to be made to postpone celebrating with all of their friends and family on their original wedding date. However, the date was the most special part of the wedding to these two high school sweethearts. Eric and Rebecca decided to have a very small ceremony in their back yard in order to still become husband and wife on their 11th anniversary of being together.

After all of the chaos of cutting numbers and the Covid cases skyrocketing we ended up deciding to postpone once again. Although we want to celebrate, we feel that it is more important that everyone stay safe and healthy at this time. We are working to find a new date for late next year/early 2022 to give enough time for cases to (hopefully) drop back down and become manageable so that we can celebrate (finally) with ALL of our friends and family. We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience during this time. -Eric & Bec
