Walk the High Line
The High Line is an elevated train track turned into a beautiful park. You can enjoy the views of the neighborhoods of Chelsea and Hudson Yards, and you can see New York’s newest attraction, The Vessel.
The Standard Biergarten
One of our favorite bars in NYC, located underneath the High Line. We celebrated here the night of our engagement. Always a good time. Prost!
Central Park
So many beautiful spots to check out. You could spend the entire day exploring if you wanted! Some of our favorite spots are Bethesda Terrace, the Bow Bridge, Belvedere Castle, and the North Woods. Matt proposed on the Gapstow Bridge, making it our favorite place in all of NYC.
North River Lobster Company
We LOVE “the lobster boat”. $10 gets you on the boat to enjoy rides up and down the Hudson River with views of the entire west side of Manhattan. We love their lobster rolls and specialty cocktails!
Brooklyn Bridge
A little touristy, but that’s what makes it fun. Once you make it to Brooklyn, you can take a ferry to Williamsburg and enjoy some hipster bars, restaurants, and shops.
The Bronx Brewery & Empanology
If you want to explore outside of Manhattan, you can check out our favorite brewery in all of New York. Their outdoor patio is the perfect spot to enjoy craft beers and gourmet empanadas. You can’t get these beers outside of New York so if you love craft beers as much as we do we HIGHLY recommend making the trip.
