What's the dress code?/Gibt es eine Kleiderordnung?

Festive Attire, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Schick anziehen, bitte. Aber wir wollen, dass ihr euch wohlfühlt, also falls die Schuhe zu hoch sind oder der Knopf zu eng, lasst es einfach weg. ;)

Can I bring a date?/Kann ich ein Date mitbringen?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Wenn deine Einladung sagt "und Gast oder +1" dann ja, falls nicht, würden wir es besser finden, wenn nur du kommst.
