Question

Children at Our Wedding

Answer

We absolutely love your little ones and are so grateful to have them be part of our celebration. To help create a calm and intimate atmosphere during our ceremony, we kindly ask that the ceremony itself be an adults-only experience, with the exception of children ages 8 and older. However, we warmly welcome children of all ages to join us for the dinner and reception to celebrate, eat, and dance the night away! We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to bring a +1. Please confirm your +1’s attendance along with your own through the RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

I went to RSVP but don’t see a section for my plus one or child, what should I do?

Answer

If you were given a plus one or are RSVPing for your child, their name should appear when you search for your invitation. If you’re unable to find them or believe something is missing, please reach out to us directly and we’ll be happy to assist!

Question

Will food be provided at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Guests will enjoy a full dining experience throughout the evening. Cocktail hour will feature three tray-passed hors d’oeuvres: beef carpaccio crostini, fruit skewers, and bruschetta. At dinner, a tableside appetizer of prosciutto-wrapped chicken and Caesar salad will be served. Entrée options include chicken alouette or braised short rib, accompanied by mashed potatoes, risotto, and grilled asparagus. A vegetarian option of wild mushroom ravioli will also be available. For our younger guests, a children’s meal of chicken tenders with fries will be provided.

Question

What to wear?

Answer

Colors are Navy and Maroon. Acceptable colors to wear would be those colors along with black or a dark blue, warm tone colors nothing too bright and no white for the ladies. We also noted the attire on the schedule page.

Question

I typed “The Chalet” into my GPS and nothing came up. How do I find the venue?

Answer

The wedding will be held at The Chalet, which is located inside the Mountain Top Ski & Adventure Center at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. Most GPS apps will not recognize “The Chalet” as a destination, so please enter Mountain Top Ski & Adventure Center instead. Once you arrive at Mountain Top, you have reached the correct location—the wedding venue is located there. There are typically signs for Mountain Top, not The Chalet.
