We're Getting Married!

Kelli and Sims' story began on November 14, 2019. From the very beginning, they knew they had something special. Even before they officially started dating, Kelli’s grandma, Dea, looked at her and said with complete confidence, “I picked him out for you.” It turned out she was right, as always. From that moment on, their lives began to intertwine. They grew up together. Side by side, they went through confirmation at the same church, guided by the same preacher who will now stand before them on their wedding day. They dated through high school graduations, college years, and college graduations (Go Cocks!), cheering each other on through every milestone. They watched one another step into adulthood, landing their first real jobs, learning responsibility, and building the foundation of a life together. They were immediately welcomed into each other’s families, never feeling like outsiders, but like they had always belonged. From the very beginning, Sims’ mom, Nickie, welcomed Kelli with open arms, showing her the same warmth, love, and kindness she gives her own family. Sims didn’t just become Kelli’s fiancé, he became family, and nowhere is that more evident than in his friendship with Kelli’s dad, Craig. Their love story is also filled with the small, real moments that matter most. When Kelli’s parents said she couldn’t get a dog in college and Sims told her that he wouldn’t either… he absolutely did. Her name is Ollie, and she quickly became part of their little family and further proof that Kelli does always get what she wants. Their wedding party consists of friends and family who have walked with them through every season, offering encouragement, laughter, prayer, and unwavering support.
