Where can I find the Ferry Schedule, and when should I reserve?

Answer

The BC Ferry schedule is also linked on the Travel page of this website. You will Select the "Southern Gulf Island Route" then Vancouver Departures. The Ferry Leaves Tsawwassen and arrives on Galiano Island. please book your Walk On or Vehicle reservation ASAP! This is very important.

Will I be able to buy food and alcohol on the island?

Answer

there is a corner store/ liquor store with limited selection of alcohol, and a small market with local produce and necessities. I would highly recommend to bring your own food and alcohol with you on the ferry.

are there taxis or uber on the island?

Answer

No! Unfortunately there are no taxis or ubers on Galiano Island. There will be transportation provided to and from the wedding ceremony/ reception. More details to come for pick up and drop off times, please stay tuned.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you Invitation says "and Guest" absolutely! if not, we are so sorry we are not able to accommodate extra guests due to venue capacity. Thank you so much for your understanding.

will it be a cash bar?

Answer

yes and no. the venue does NOT accept any cash payments so please bring your debit/ credit card! However, there will be complimentary wine, beer, and cider throughout the reception.
