Best Man & Officiant
Freshman year of college, we sat together at lunch once and after being sore from laughter for a few days I knew I had found a best friend. Every moment with Dylan is filled with laughs for me, and strange looks for everyone else and I wouldn't want it any other way. His infectious charisma and positivity is something I look forward to being in our lives forever. I have learned so much from Dylan he has no idea. No one was more of cheerleader for Amanda and my relationship as well, which is why we are so honored to have him as our officiant.
Maid of Honor
Liz and I go way back to 2007! Liz actually is who created the nickname for me- "Scato". Liz was a my roommate every year in college, though we have each moved countless times after college. The distance has never kept us away from each other! We have taken in concerts, football games, road trips, weddings, and beach vacations together. We have so many memories together that I can't remember which of us is the bad influence... We love Liz for her fun loving, never shuts off personality!
Best Man
Roland is my oldest friend. We met before we started first grade, which I am guessing we were 6. We have stories we can't repeat and many we can't recall but no matter where our lives have taken us, every moment of these 30 years of friendship has been priceless to me. Roland is my best man because he is THE best man. Only a few months older than me but someone I have looked up to my entire life. No one has been a better example of how to be a son, brother, friend, teammate, husband, father, or man. Although I have known who my best man was going to be for decades, it means so much to have Roland by my side on my wedding day, and on.
Bridesmaid
Amber is my oldest sister and the one that taught me the first steps about life. Though she is a book worm, the countless memories we had growing up we evened each other out. She made me stand in line for a Harry Potter book for hours in North Carolina and I made her host endless summer BBQ in Big Springs when we spent summers with our grandma. We learned to cook, sew, and be "mom"s together (don't worry, it was only a baby think it over! :) ) We love Amber for her guidance and love from afar.
Groomsman
Phi walked into my sister's apartment to listen to some beats, and walked in with Mike Mendoza. As one of a kind a person as there can ever be. Mike is the person you want in your corner for anything, endlessly motivating and will never let you hear the end of something you are afraid to try. Mike got me out of my comfort zone and from music, to work, to life in general Mike will pushed me to become a better version of myself. He's about as far geographically as you can be and still be in the continental US, but every time we speak it is like we never left South Jefferson St.
Bridesmaid
Morgan is my younger sister! Growing up in Cozad together, you would have thought there wasn't enough clothes to go around - we always wanted the same shirt on the same day! God bless our parents. From loving all the same music, foods and activities, the memories we have from “figuring out” adulthood are my favorite. Morgan was always up for a challenge... my personal favorites were when she tried Muelympics for the first time or when we celebrated College World series then had to drive hours back to play in golf tournament with our dad! We love Morgan for her drive and willingness to support us no matter what!
Groomsman
I met Mitch one of the first times hanging out with Amanda and I felt like we had grown up together. I wasn't too good at making new friends, as everyone I knew I either met as a little kid or in college, but Mitch seemed like someone I had known for years. When I moved to Minnesota I was so lost being away from familiar faces. Mitch told me he and Sarah were moving there and I was so happy even though he probably just thought of me as Amanda's boyfriend at the time. I don't know how I would've made it through that part of my life without him. Mitch, Sarah, Riley, and now baby Finley are family and we are honored to have them be a part of our wedding and lives to come.
Bridesmaid
I met Sarah though Kenzie. Sarah and Mitch moved to Minnesota while we lived here. Over the 2.5 years of being in the same town, away from our friends and family...we leaned on each other. From every Sunday get togethers watching football and regular golf outings, the memories are endless. During our time with them, I watched Sarah become a mom to turtles. Though a weird thing to point out... I do believe it was when I learned how truly talented she is. She built the best home any turtle has on planet earth from scratch. She is my sounding wall for all things, but especially creativity! She also showed me the definition of true strength. We love Sarah for her creative mind, knowledge of all things (Stefano would say movies and politics!), and mother hen nature!
Groomsman
Gordon and I became friends in first grade too. I begged my mom to drive me over to his house to hang out, and it became a weekly routine until we could turn it into a daily routine with our own transportation. We went from sleepovers playing nintendo to high school parties to bar nights to quiet dinners and that will continue to playing chess in the park as old men. Gordon has always been there for me and I will always be there for him. I am thankful to have Gordon there to keep my anxiety in check come wedding day by making me laugh like we are 12 years old again.
Junior Bridesmaid
Kylee is the youngest of my sisters. Even though we have quite the age gap, we ve never skipped a beat. She continuously cheered me on in anything I did... volleyball basketball track and even came to witness my first appearance being a college cheerleader! I’m so proud of the young woman she is becoming as she leads her Girl Scout troop, church youth group, and color guard team. We love Kylee for her passion and giant heart!
Groomsman
Jerid and I met in college also and along with Dylan and Yves have been pretty much inseparable since. We have always teased Jerid about being a model citizen, but I have always envied his ability to work so hard and achieve so much while still being able to goof off with the rest of us. Jerid and I have always bonded over something I won't go into here, but it shows the apple can fall far from the tree. We got dealt a bad card but still play a winning hand. Twin towers everywhere we go. Only person I can borrow clothes from and talk to at eye level. Jerid is the kind of person you can trust with anything. So trusting him with honoring the groomsman title was easy.
Bridesmaid
I met Kenzie at Hastings College, though our friendship didn't really flourish until she started dating her now husband, Michael (who I was friends with in college). Talk about someone with a big heart! She shares my same love of darts, bloody marys and country music. One of my favorite memories together is when we went to Des Moines for NYE! Though the distance between us has grown, you'd think she lives next door! We love Kenz for her big heart and caring spirit!
Groomsman
I am pretty sure we met at the Marymount Ballston campus, and Yves talked so fast it always took me a second to understand what he was saying. With every long pause I am sure he thought I was a moron, but I broke him down eventually. I will always remember those years we were riding together into anything every single day. If there was an adventure to be had Yves was going to be there with me. Unflappable and always cool, I couldn't have asked for a better partner. Yves always yelled at me for being completely oblivious of my surroundings and it was always fun. Now we are professional adults and Yves is still the person I know I can count on to drop everything. I learned from him that simply being there is one of the best gifts to give as a friend and I will always remember that.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and I met through Stefano/Dylan. How lucky I am to have her as a friend. Not only does she educate me in all things of life but she has been there no matter the miles. While living in Minnesota, not only did they visit multiple times but the road trips we planned to breweries ... well everywhere. Our friendship grew. The turning point though... when she knew I could braid hair 😂 as we ve moved back to DC area in early 2020, we have spent a lot of time with the Garons. They are the family we didn’t know we needed.
Usher
Jake was one of my first friends at Hastings college! He always matches my loudness and obnoxiousness. From Nashville to Chicago, we have so many memories of road trips, sporting events and concerts! I introduced Stefano to Jake in 2015 at country stampede; they were two peas in a pod. From chugging snow beast and doing “around the world” beer challenges to hitting the greens for a round of 18 holes. These two could find fun anywhere! We love Jake for his “energizer bunny” personality and willing to try anything mentality!
Honor Attendant
I met Ella through a friend, little did I know she’s a small town Nebraska girl! We connected right away with how many other nebraskans we knew and the crazy things we did on O st in Lincoln! She has a heart of gold and will bend over backwards for anyone. I’m fortunate that Minnesota brought this Nebraska girl into my life! She made Minnesota feel like home and was there for me thru the ups and downs. We love Ella for her big heart and caring soul.

Hunter is my younger brother! He is always up for an adventure. He shares the love of DC sports with Stefano, well... most DC sports :) we have taken in several Capitals vs. Wild games over the years! Having Hunter be a part of our day was a no-brainer; he has welcomed Stefano into the family as if he was his own brother. Our future will continue to be filled with DC sports and breweries whenever we are with him and Madison! We love Hunter for his laid back personality!
Honor Attendant
My blonde bombshell. The one god knew I needed. Devynn came into our lives through mutual friends. We met at a wedding and soon again at the annual Muelolympics. Little did we know she d end up being one of our closest friends. Devynn is kind hearted but tells you how it is, she ll be there no matter what and will sing & dance you to laughter and tears. We can’t wait for Devynn to be a part of our day.

I have known Kyle since he was a baby, although I never knew he would go from Roland's little brother as kids to my little brother too by the time we were adults. I love every moment with Kyle. It is always fun and it is always hilarious. We have built our own catalog of memories just as I did with the older brothers, and I am lucky to have all of the Hilliard's as a part of my life now and in the future. In addition to being best friends, I also love for Kyle to be a part of the wedding as another representative of a family that means so much to me. I want to honor Mr. Craig, Ms. Alana, CJ, Alvin, Philippe, and Ms. Angele. The Hilliards and Tondereaus are wonderful people and always treated me like a part of their family.
Honor Attendant
Jordan and I met back in 2012. Feel likes forever go as we take a trip down memory lane. From country stampede, Nashville, to NYC and every husker game in between. Jordan is always there ready to have a good time. I couldn’t imagine our day without Jordan. She’s kind hearted, loving and always looking out for you!
Host couple
I met Molly through State Farm; as many know this is the reason we moved to Minnesota and now DC. Molly and her husband took me in fresh out of college as I traveled around Minnesota and Wisconsin working with agents. Over the last 10 years our friendship as flourished into a sisterhood. Though she has been there for me during the toughest time of my career, she has also supported Stefano and I during our relationship. We love Molly for her “shoot it straight” approach and loving hugs!
