We’re getting married!!

Back in 2012 we were in our Junior year of high school. A firmiliar face had joined my everyday lunch table, a cute, funny, varsity football player named Marcus. He was the one who befriended everyone, had a contagious laugh and smile. I on the other hand was shy, kept to my inner circle of 4ish firends and was totally okay third wheeling with my bestie and her beau. Days turned into weeks which eventually turned into months of our new friend sitting with us at lunch. Within that time I had gotten to know him extremely well. We had grown into best friends those last few months of our junior year. Over the summer I found myself at Marcus’ house after work each night, sitting under the stars, chatting about our day and where we see ourselves in the future. Marcus was easily one of my favorite people and I trusted him with everything without even knowing it. We only dated for less then a year when I moved to North Dakota with the Simon family. Marcus and I began renting our very first home in that state as well as adopting our(my) baby Spencer. The first months after bringing Spencer home we would look at each other and ask "What did we do before a puppy?!" I guess thats a look into a future with children? After that we adopted Duke and are a happy family of four now. Since 2015 we have moved back to Wisconsin! I have seen myself in Marcus’ life since 2012 when we were only kids. I cannot wait to marry this high school hunk of mine and keep conquering life together!
