Although Dylan is originally from California, life eventually brought him to Omaha. We both attended Ralston Middle and High School, but life had us running in different circles back then. Cheyenne had a quiet crush on Dylan throughout high school, though our paths didn't cross often. Years later, fate brought us back together at a mutual friend's bonfire. What started as an easy friendship quickly grew into something more-and we've become inseparable ever since.
Over the 4th of July weekend 2025, we took a trip to Colorado filled with adventure- exploring Garden of the Gods, hiked the Manitou Incline, and driving up the summit of Pikes Peak. On the way down Pikes Peak, dressed up for a dinner reservation for an early anniversary dinner, Dylan suggested stopping by a quiet lake halfway down the mountain. Surrounded by the water, trees, and mountains, we walked along the shoreline as Dylan began telling Cheyenne how much he loved her. Nervous and caught off guard, she said "Ditto" (not her best moment). Dylan smiled, pulled out a cherry-red ring box, and began kneeling as he said, "Cheyenne Rae Robinson, I have one very important question to ask you. Will you marry me?". Cheyenne immediately began crying. To make it even more perfect, Dylan had secretly hired a photographer to capture the entire moment.
