This gem is only hidden because it is tucked away between a shop and its courtyard! Get some extremely yummy beignets (I would say the best); a must-have New Orleans treat!
Located in the Hotel Monteleone, this rotating bar is definitely a spectacle to be seen, from the signature cocktails to the live music.
Definitely, a must whenever we go to NOLA! Their dumplings are the richest and soupiest! Do not overlook their hotpots either. They have two locations; one is on Decatur (which is listed here), while the other is 620 Conti Street, right around the block from the Omni Royal.
This iconic place has a little bit of everything and is all walkable! Take your pick: from live music, street performers, artists selling their paintings, fortune-telling, and shops as far as the eye can see! One can even see the St. Louis Cathedral up close and personal. You have not experienced NOLA without checking this out!
The Ritz Carlton is a beautiful establishment; however, the pièce de résistance is its fabulous jazz band. It may be hard to find seating right away. I promise it is totally worth the wait! This will transport you and show you the soul of New Orleans.
This steam boat will give you a little tour down the Mississippi River sometimes accompanied by live music and maybe a buffet. Some of my earliest memories are going on this with my parents when I was little:)
