Meet the wedding party

Kelsey Simon

Bride

Dalton Smith

Groom

Kourtney Rogus

Maid of Honor

Best Friend of the Bride Kourtney and I met in Kindergarten at Holy Cross Catholic School. We were cheerleaders and played basketball and volleyball together. We both went on to Cardinal Mooney High School and played volleyball. In high school, we became best friends and went on to Oakland University where we were roommates for the first two years. There are never any dull moments when Kourtney and I are together. She is a loyal and trustworthy friend whom I am comfortable confiding in. When I actually have to dress up and don’t know what to wear, Kourtney is my go to for fashion advice. As my best friend, she accepts me with all my flaws. She is like a sister to me!

Killian Smith

Best Man

Brother of the Groom Killian is always the life of the party. He has always been there for me with some of the greatest advice any man could give. Killian is able to put smiles on anyone and make his family proud... especially when he is in a kilt with his pipes

Aileen Webber

Bridesmaid

Sister of the Groom I met Aileen when I was a sophomore at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. I knew Aileen about a year before I met Dalton. We were both on the school basketball team. Aileen is always willing to help wherever and whenever she can. Aileen has always treated me like a sister. I feel comfortable with her and feel I can share anything. It’s a God gifted relationship that I am thankful for. I can’t wait to be sisters for real!

Devin Webber

Groomsman

Brother-in-law of the Groom. This wonderful man married my sister, Aileen. I have known Devin since 2009. We went to school together for two years and ran track together as well. I could not be more proud to have Devin as a groomsman and to make more memories with Kelsey and I.

Christina Simon

Bridesmaid

Sister-in-law of the Bride Christina is married to my brother, Kyle. She is very accommodating and always has an open door. Christina has enriched the lives of Dalton and I with her patience, compassion and loving ways. She always includes us and makes us feel loved and welcome.

Kyle Simon

Groomsman

Brother of the bride Kyle and Kelsey are 11 years apart. From the beginning, Kyle has always treated me like a brother with his endless jokes and laughter. Kyle made me feel right at home the first time I met him by asking me why I had his jacket on. We enjoy hanging out with Kyle and we are sure to have a good time.

Tracie Holden

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Bride Growing up, Tracie was always generous to share her hand me down clothes. Now she loans me her clothes when I am in need of something for special occasions. She is one of the most flexible people I know. I admire how she can improvise without advanced planning and can always have a good time.

Kyle Smith

Groomsman

Brother of the Groom Kyle has always been a role model in my life. He has shown me that hard work and determination can get you anywhere in life. I always joke around about how late Kyle is for everything. This time it's not a joke. Hopefully, Kyle will be on time to our wedding.

Jodi Van Hoeck

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Bride Jodi is my eldest cousin and Godmother. Although she lives in Miami Beach, Florida, I feel we keep connected even though the miles separate us. We always call each other on birthdays and holidays. When I was a little girl, Jodi gave me her undivided attention which was the foundation of my trust and respect for her.

Ronald Simon

Groomsman

Brother of the Bride Ronnie is 21 years older than Kelsey; an even bigger age gap than Kelsey and Kyle. Kelsey got closer to Ronnie in her late teen years and even more so when she started dating me. Ronnie always made a point of expressing how much he liked me. That created a killer bond between all of us.

Kim Andrews

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Bride Kim is the one who will take time to help anyone with anything. She can always be counted on to help with her artistic and creative talents. Also, I am proud and honored to be the Godmother to her third, and youngest son, Beckham.

Bryan Van Hoeck

Groomsman

Cousin of the Bride Bryan is Kelsey's cousin who we both are very close to. We have been to parties, concerts, traveled to Nashville and Las Vegas three times together. Bryan constantly humors us with his random comments, but not at the expense of anybody. He is genuinely funny, tends to bring people together and creates a more light-hearted and enjoyable atmosphere. If you approach Bryan with a drink, you better watch it because even though he "does not want it" it will be gone in 0.2 seconds.

Danielle Smith

Bridesmaid

Cousin of the Groom Danielle is Dalton's first cousin. We believed that she would be a great addition to our wedding party due to her lively personality; we always know we're going to have a great time when Danielle is around! Danielle is creative and skilled in culinary arts. Nurturing and benevolent, she's always looking out for others, even massaging my feet on the way home after a long night out. I cannot wait to call Danielle my cousin!

Alex Lasceski

Groomsman

Friend of the Groom I met Alex at Lakeside Mall. We worked as Paul Blart (A.K.A security guards) for two years together. We were known as Timón and Pumba because we would always get yelled at for joking around at work. It is always a party when Alex is around!

Mallory Simon

Junior Bridesmaid

Niece of the Bride (12 years old) My life changed the day Mallory was born; I was 12 years old. I felt an instant bond. Through the years, I have spent a lot of time with her; I was her alternative caregiver. Nonetheless, it is a special relationship. She is definitely my mini me! Even though the age difference, Mallory and I get each other's sense of humor. When Dalton and I started dating, Mallory became attached to him and always finds joy and pleasure in making Dalton belly laugh. As a dedicated gymnast, we see more of Mallory's feet than her face.

Alexis (Lexi) Simon

Junior Bridesmaid

Niece of the Bride (9 years old) When Lexi was born, I was 14 ½ years old. Again, I beamed in pride at having another niece. I felt I shared a new special bond. For her age, she is logical, witty, and has clever comebacks. Lexi is a driven gymnast and thrives to compete. Lexi’s excitement and expressions when asked to be a junior bridesmaid were priceless.

Brianna Champagne

Junior Bridesmaid

Niece of Bride - by marriage (12 years old) Brianna is our niece who came into our lives about three years ago. A gymnast and avid reader with an infectious laugh, there is never a dull moment when she is around! We are so happy to have Brianna join us in celebrating our special day.

Anthony Champagne

Usher

Nephew of Bride - by marriage (8 years old) Anthony is our hockey loving nephew with a big heart. Living with four sisters is no easy feat, but he bears it well with his patient and caring demeanor. We can't wait for Anthony to bring his spunky personality to his role as an usher at our wedding.

Beverly Simon

Mother of the Bride

(the late) Ronald Simon

Father of the Bride

Ann Mary Smith

Mother of the Groom

Walter Smith

Father of the Groom
