Many things have been derailed due to COVID-19 this year, but we couldn’t let our marriage be one of them! We decided to self-solemnize our union while aboard a Delta flight headed for Las Vegas. When we pulled out the paper and realized we needed a couple of witnesses, the flight attendants were overjoyed to be a part of this special occasion. They went above and beyond our expectations, making it a truly memorable experience. They insisted that Talli walk down the aisle of the airplane, made a veil and a bouquet out of supplies on board, and held the weddings rings on a silver tray while we exchanged our vows. One of the flight attendants even popped her own personal bottle of champagne to celebrate us as newlyweds! We then spent a few days celebrating each other in Vegas but missed all of our family and friends!
