We are excited to share our love

While both of us had partaken in the event for decades with family friends our life paths never crossed. A strong connection forged instantly on that day.

With help from Taki's brother & sister-in-law an innocent white lie was created that required Simone & Taki to escort his goddaughter to the zoo for a birthday party. Taki, Simone & Persefani took in the amazing exhibits the zoo had to offer. We made our way into the African Savanna. While the elephants watched Taki began to talk about a letter Simone's yia-yia had written to her when she was a baby. "Life has many doors, make sure before you open one it's the right one. Think everything out before you make your decisions. Take your time and always ask Jesus to help." As he quoted from the letter her yia-yia wrote got on one knee to ask Simone "Will you marry me?" She said YES," and we were engaged. Waiting nearby in the zoo the rest of the Batis & Koutoufaris family to share in the excitement.
