we're getting married!

On April 3, 2022 at about 1:00am, Simone picked up her sister, brother-in-law, and a couple of their friends at a wedding in Coconut Grove. Matan, looking very suave in a tux, slid into the back seat and caught her eye in the rearview mirror. After a long night of talking and laughing, he asked for her number and kissed her goodnight. After a long week of waiting, Simone was talked into texting Matan first. One date led to another, and "taking it slow" quickly turned into falling in love, moving in together, and realizing they couldn't imagine ever being apart. While Simone and Matan seemingly come from two different worlds—art and law, respectively—they bonded deeply through their love of adventure, food, and quality time with family and friends. Their interests are wildly different; Simone loves art, cooking, video games, anime, and astrology; Matan loves movies, rap music, Star Wars, sports, and sleeping. Sharing their passions with each other, and learning from each other, has expanded their life together in the most fulfilling way. They balance one another (she's a Sagittarius, he's a Taurus), keep each other grounded, and strive every day to make each other as happy as possible. Simone and Matan live in Downtown Miami with their beloved dog, Zeke. Their story is just starting, and they can't wait for this next chapter of life together.
