Its Happening! Finally!

They met at Del Norte. Keri was always asleep. But they never talked. Simone's senior year of high school, a friend put out an ad for her, and Keri answered. After many, many nights of sneaking her into the house in the middle of the night (sorry, mom!), they made it official on April 10, 2009. Tons have happened since then! They welcomed their nephew Malakai into the world, moved, three times, have dealt with many surgeries, job changes, and family stuff. Through it all, they have been a rock for each other. After almost seven years, Keri decided to pop the question. Sure, they talked about their wedding years before, but February 2016, Keri decided she wanted to share her life with Simone. Keri found the ring, had Justina fly in all the way from Ohio, and surprised Simone with the most amazing engagement! Now, they want to celebrate their love with those that mean most! All of you! Their friends and family that have been there all these wonderful years! Please join them!

Our theme for the wedding is Steampunk. For those that don't know, Steampunk is it is a genre of science fiction that has a historical setting and typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology. And a style of design and fashion that combines historical elements with anachronistic technological features inspired by science fiction. "the essence of steampunk is homage to vintage fashion with a modern, sassy twist" To join the fun, we ask that our guests dress in their most comfortable Steampunk wear! And yes, comfortable! We want you to enjoy the time spent with us, and you aren't able to if you aren't comfortable. Vests, boots, bustle skirts, long skirts, slacks, corsets, hats, gloves, etc are all ideas of items you can find in your closet!
