FAQs

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out through email or phone number to the maid of honour, Taylor Burton, at taylorburton2001@gmail.com or (403)-862-1808. She is happy to help with any questions!
Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to accommodate everyone, we have a limited number of seats. We kindly ask that only those addressed on the wedding RSVP and attend.

Question

Is there a guest book?

Answer

We’re doing something a little different! Instead of a traditional guest book, we’re inviting everyone to share their favourite recipe. After the wedding, we’ll compile all of your recipes into a custom newlywed cookbook, a collection filled with meals, memories, and love from the people who mean the most to us. Recipe cards will be available at the wedding, or you’re welcome to bring your own. Please be sure to include your name so we know whose love we’re cooking with when we make your recipe! Feel free to make it your own, include as much or as little as you’d like.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 4th, 2026.

Question

When do I need to RSVP regarding camping?

Answer

If you’re unsure whether you’ll be bringing a trailer when you RSVP, please select “Will Not” for now—you can always go back and edit your response later. We need final confirmation on whether you will be bringing a trailer or a tent by July 1, 2026.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 20 - 45 minutes prior to the ceremony so we can ensure that we start on time!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes there is a dress code, please see the dress code page for further details.

Question

Will drinks be provided at the reception?

Answer

We'll be offering a toonie bar at the reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please include any food allergies when you are RSVPing. We will ensure that you are looked after!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Please note that transportation to and from the wedding will not be provided. We kindly ask that you plan ahead for a safe way to get to the reception—we want everyone to celebrate safely, so no drinking and driving!

Question

Where should I bring my gift?

Answer

There will be a table at the reception along with a place for cards. Thank you in advance!

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

We kindly ask that no dogs be brought to the wedding, even if you’ll be camping on the property. There are other animals on-site, including horses and cats, and for everyone’s safety and comfort, we’re keeping our celebration a dog-free event. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love all your kiddos, we are having a child-free wedding! Only those listed on the RSVP are invited. Take a night off and come enjoy the party; you deserve it!
