Question

Is there a shuttle to the venue?

Answer

A complimentary shuttle will be available to transport guests to and from the wedding venue (before the ceremony & after the reception). The shuttle will leave from the hotel at 3:00 and 3:30 pm. It will make multiple late-night trips from 8:00 to 10:00pm.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Bull Run in Shirley, MA.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are having a small wedding and have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kids, but to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only (21+). We thank you for your understanding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our venue has plenty of free parking. If you are staying at Hilton Garden Inn, where we have a room block, there is free onsite parking. A complimentary shuttle will be available to transport guests to and from the wedding venue (before the ceremony & after the reception). The shuttle will leave from the hotel at 3:00 and 3:30 pm. It will make multiple late-night trips from 8:00 to 10:00pm.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive in the area no later than 3pm. The ceremony starts at 4:00pm. Please allow sufficient time to travel to the venue (by car or shuttle) before the ceremony begins to ensure we can start on time. The shuttle will leave from the hotel at 3:00 and 3:30 pm. It will make multiple late-night trips from 8:00 to 10:00pm.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

No pictures are allowed during the ceremony. We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture one of the most important moments in our lives. We'd hate to have a well-intentioned person's phone or device blocking that moment for them to capture. At the reception, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Question

What time is check-in at the hotel?

Answer

Check-in at The Hilton Garden Inn is technically 3pm. With wedding ceremony transportation running from 3-3:30pm, this may be cutting it close! We have requested early check-in, though the hotel cannot guarantee that early check-in will be available. On the morning of arrival, please call the hotel at 978-772-0600 to see if an early check is available.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire or semi-formal!

Question

What type of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be light bites and a cash bar on an outdoor/indoor patio. Dinner will be plated (please indicate preference when completing your RSVP). Make sure to enjoy dessert and a late-night snack throughout the evening! The reception will feature a partial open bar.

Question

What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please note any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions in your RSVP. We will have a plated dinner, with a vegetarian & vegan option included.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We are all here for a good time, so our wedding reception will be partial open bar. The cocktail hour and after-party will be a cash bar. If you drink, please arrange local transport or take our complimentary shuttle running to/from the wedding venue and the Devens Common hotel (from 3:00-3:30 and 8:00-10:00pm).

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We ask you to RSVP on this wedding website using the RSVP tab (note: RSVP is not available until formal invitations are sent in Summer 2023). This is where you can also let us know about any dietary restrictions. Note: RSVPs are now closed for wedding.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline was September 1st, 2023. You can RSVP online using the RSVP tab on this website. If you cannot do this, please reach out to us directly. Note: RSVPs are now closed for the wedding.
