Collin had it all planned out - the perfect beach proposal in the Bahamas, until the boat didn’t stop. Collin had planned to propose while in port of Nassau, Bahamas on our cruise at the end of January, until the weather had a different idea. The first morning we woke up on the ship Collin asked “shouldn’t we be docked already?” And I responded with “yeah, maybe we’re just running behind” and seconds later the captain coming on the speaker to let us know we wouldn’t be docking, today, or tomorrow…. Plans ruined. Collin quickly contacted my best friends, Reagan and Jordan and my mom to come up with plan B. Next thing I know Collin asked me if I wanted to stay an extra night in Miami when we returned so we could enjoy the beach there, since we weren’t going to be able to on our cruise at all. Little did I know he had gotten a new photographer for that evening when he had now planned to do it. We got off of the ship and rode bikes along the beach that afternoon, I enjoyed the nice ride while Collin was scoping out the scenery for the perfect place to pop the question. He told me we were going to go to a nice dinner on the beach, so I got dressed and we walked the beach until we came to the end where there was a pier and he decided to get down on one knee! Out of excitement I said “noooo” as soon as he pulled the ring out of his pocket then realizing I said no I immediately said “wait yes!” When he calming said “I haven’t even asked you anything yet!” Then proceeded to ask if I would marry him!! It’s a yes in every life time!!
