Best Man
Even though he’s younger, Saul has always been someone I look up to. He’s the person I try to follow in so many ways—whether it’s his sense of adventure, his humor, his music recs, or the way he just shows up for the people he loves. From late-night talks about our wildest dreams to spontaneous road trips that somehow always turn into stories we’ll tell forever, he’s been there for every chapter of my life. And yeah, that includes the impulsive stuff too—like getting puppies in the middle of finals week—because somehow, that’s just who we are together. We’ve built up a lifetime of memories, stories, and inside jokes that only we truly get. We’ve celebrated wins, survived failures, and gone through all the messy, beautiful in-between moments, and I honestly wouldn’t trade any of it. Saul has been my constant—my brother in adventure, and the one who makes the ordinary feel unforgettable. He’s not just my brother. He’s the keeper of all our best stories, the person who makes life brighter just by being in it, and someone I’ll always look up to and lean on. No matter where life takes us, I know we’ll keep making memories, laughing, and sticking together through it all.
Maid of Honor
Lola Clair Senderhauf. Maid of Honor. If you know me, then you know Lola. She is my best friend, my biggest critic, and the person who has walked beside me through every high and low. She has a fearless spirit and an adventurous heart that makes everyone around her feel more alive. Her energy is contagious, and her presence has shaped who I am more than she will ever know. Lola has pushed me, challenged me, and helped me grow into a better version of myself. She’s seen me at my best and my worst, loved me through both, and never let me settle for less than who I’m capable of being. Even though she’s younger than me, she has always been my greatest role model. Her strength, confidence, and determination inspire me daily. I’ll never forget the sign she had in her room that read, “Every day roll out of bed and make a conscious decision to punch that day right in the throat.” That unapologetic, take-on-anything attitude has been one of the biggest influences in my life. Like so many little girls, I’ve imagined my wedding day since I was eight years old. And in every version of that dream, Lola was always standing right next to me. Not just because she’s my sister or my best friend—but because no matter how much life changes, Lola has always been, and will always be, my constant.
Groomsman
Samson is my older brother, and he has this incredible way of making everyone around him feel completely at home. Whether it’s friends, family, or someone he’s just met, he has this rare gift of striking up a conversation that instantly makes people feel seen, heard, and valued—as if they’ve known him forever. That openness, that genuine interest in others, is something I deeply admire. One of the things I’ve always looked up to about Samson is his curiosity. He notices the little details in life that most of us overlook. Being around him makes you slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the everyday moments that often pass by unnoticed. I’m constantly inspired by him, not just by what he says, but by the way he lives. Every conversation, every laugh, every shared adventure feels like a reminder of how rich life can be when you truly embrace it. Samson’s ability to host is unmatched. Every get-together somehow becomes memorable simply because he’s there, filling it with warmth, humor, and his infectious energy. Watching him do that has taught me so much about generosity, connection, and the joy of making others feel welcome. I often catch myself trying to reflect that same spirit, hoping to bring even a fraction of that light into the lives of those around me.
Bridesmaid
My twin flame, Francie. We met our sophomore year of college and became close almost instantly, drawn together by our shared love of music and fashion. Throughout college, she was always looking out for me, quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) hoping to find someone worthy of me. You could say she was my real-life dating app, but with much higher standards. Francie deserves credit where it’s due—she is the reason Simon and I ever met. She hosted a pumpkin-carving night with friends and made a last-minute decision to invite Simon, thinking that even if nothing came of it, he and Emma would at least become good friends. Instead, thanks to her incredible intuition and care, Simon and I instantly connected. Three years later, we’ve gone from carving pumpkins together to planning a wedding—and none of it would have happened without Francie. Francie is one of the most loyal and loving people I know. I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow into an incredible wife and mother, and her love for the people in her life is something truly special. We once promised each other we’d be bridesmaids in each other’s weddings—she honored that promise, and it means the world to me to honor it now. From the moment we met, Francie has supported me, cared for me, and stood by me without hesitation. She is exactly the kind of person I want beside me on my wedding day. I am endlessly thankful for everything she has done for me and for the love she has brought into my life.
Groomsman
Seth is the oldest of the Streachek brothers, but you’d never know it with how young at heart he is. He’s the kind of person who lights up a room the second he walks in—the life of the party, the one who instantly brings out the kid in all of us when we’re together. You can ask anyone who knows him, and they’ll have a funny story involving Seth, usually one that perfectly captures his humor, his timing, or just how much fun he makes life. His one-liners are unmatched, and somehow he always knows the exact moment to say the thing that makes everyone burst out laughing. But beyond the jokes and the laughter, what I love most about Seth is how he carries himself through life. No matter what’s going on, no matter how heavy or stressful things might feel, he somehow finds a way to keep the mood light, to make people smile, and to remind us that joy and positivity matter. He’s a constant source of energy and encouragement, the kind of person who has your back without hesitation and makes you feel like anything is possible when he’s around. I’m truly grateful for Seth—for his laughter, his energy, his optimism, and for always being someone I can look up to. He’s not just my older brother; he’s a guide, a role model, and a friend who makes life better simply by being in it. I know that no matter what happens, I can always count on him, and I wouldn’t trade his presence in my life for anything. Seth will always be the brother I admire, trust, and turn to for guidance
Bridesmaid
My soon to be sister-in-law Miss Selah. She is a woman who truly embodies love, joy, and laughter. The first time I met Selah was at the famous “Streachek Hors d’oeuvres” night. A truly chaotic and joyful tradition this family shares, Selah made me feel like I was at home. She reminded me a lot of my little sister with her stories and we instantly connected. From hiking up north, to random adventures in Rochester, Selah and I have made so many memories in the short time we have spent together. Once you know her, she has an incredible way of making people feel instantly comfortable and genuinely cared for. She brings so much laughter to our family gatherings and love to every space she enters. Beyond being a sister-in-law, she has become a true friend — someone I admire deeply and am endlessly grateful for. I am so incredibly excited and grateful to get another little sister as cool as Selah.
Groomsman
My good buddy, and someone I was truly blessed to share a room with senior year, Will is the kind of guy who leaves a lasting impression. I can confidently say he makes me feel short — and that’s no small feat! He’s a tough-souled man with a heart that’s even bigger than his presence. I admire him for the way he cares so deeply for his family, for the tireless work he puts in every day, and for the way he lives with honesty and integrity. Will always speaks the truth, even when it’s hard, and you can always count on him to do what’s right. You will never meet a more loyal person — someone who will stand up and fight for his friends and family without hesitation. Every memory we’ve made together reminds me of his generosity, humor, and unwavering loyalty. He’s usually the one who convinces all our college buddies to jump into the next adventure, and somehow, he makes every experience better just by being there. Will’s the kind of friend you can always count on, the kind of person who makes life richer and brighter just by showing up, and I’m endlessly grateful to know him.
Bridesman
Simon and Saul were nicknamed “bear cubs” when they were little—a name that fit them perfectly. They fought and wrestled like cubs, but they were inseparable. When I came into the picture, another incredible woman had just arrived as well. Saul had recently started dating Karolyn, and our paths crossed for the first time in the middle of an intense game of pickleball. The “bear cubs” were being competitive and clearly showing off. Karolyn and I turned to face one another, laughing at the testosterone and chaos unfolding. It was in that moment where I knew I had just made a friend for life. From the very beginning, Karolyn felt like someone I could grow alongside, experience new stages with, and lean on as both a friend and family. Someone I could wedding plan with today and someday coordinate elementary hockey practice pick-ups with in the future. Being new to the family was exciting, but I was incredibly lucky to have someone joining me on that journey—someone who made it feel easy, familiar, and full of joy. From shopping trips to late-night sleepovers, Karolyn has always felt like someone I’ve known forever. She is kind, genuine, strong-willed, ambitious, and deeply faithful. She shows up fully—for the people she loves and for the life she’s building. I am beyond grateful to have gained not just a sister-in-law, but a true friend. Someone who feels like family in every sense of the word, and someone I know will be beside me through so many chapters still to come.
Groomsman
He’s one of the few and closest buddies I made in college, and our friendship goes way back. There’s no one I’d rather spend late nights talking to about life, theology, or just figuring things out together. He has this quiet integrity — always doing the right thing even when no one’s watching — and (other than Emma) probably holds the record for the most ongoing calls I’ve ever had with anyone. We’ve shared some pretty spontaneous adventures, from skipping school and going to Florida, to working at the airport, to endless stories from hanging out with the guys in Bismarck. What I admire most is that he’s always there for you — his loyalty, hard work, humor, and heart make him someone everyone wants in their corner. Even when things go wrong, he can make you laugh and help you see the lighter side of life. He’s the kind of friend who leaves a mark — someone who makes ordinary moments brighter, tough times easier, and adventures unforgettable. He always leaves me feeling rejuvenated after spending time with him. I’m endlessly grateful for him, for the laughter, the conversations, and all the memories we’ve shared, with so many more still to come.
Bridesmaid
So, funny story—Kaitlin thought I hated her for the entire first year of what I believed was our friendship. Looking back now, it’s hard to imagine a life where we weren’t as close as we became. College shaped so much of who I am today, and Kaitlin was there for all of it—the good and the crash outs. There is a reason we can't play “Ticket to Ride” together…ask Francie about that… I had the privilege of watching her step into some of the biggest chapters of her life: buying her first car, becoming a homeowner, graduating, and marrying the love of her life. Through it all, she remained the same Kaitlin—steady, genuine, and always ready to sit down and enjoy the simple things. She was always up for a card game, a beer, or sitting around a campfire, embracing life like the true Minnesotan she is. Kaitlin has stood beside me through the chaos of nursing school, my endless stress, and my never-ending search for love. She knows me on a deeper level than most, so when I met Simon, she instantly knew something was different. She saw what I couldn’t fully put into words yet, and she believed in it from the very beginning. That kind of understanding and intuition is rare, and it’s one of the many reasons I admire her so deeply. There is so much about Kaitlin that I admire. She has a heart of gold, a loyalty that runs deep, and a way of making the people around her feel grounded and cared for. Anyone lucky enough to have a Kaitlin in their life is truly living a good life.
Groomsman
He is another one of my closest college buddies, the kind of friend who can always turn a simple moment into a story you’ll remember forever. Some might call him the smooth talker, but what really stands out is the way he makes everyone around him feel like the most important person in the room. He has this rare combination of humility and kindness — the kind of person who would give you the shirt right off his back if you needed it. When he told me he wanted to become a cop, I thought there could be no better place for him. He truly has the heart and character to make a difference in people’s lives through his profession. Beyond that, he’s the most willing to dive into anything — if there’s a will, he finds a way. He’s the life of our friend group, always starting the next conversation, planning the next adventure, or finding the next mountain to climb. John is someone all of us college friends look up to — someone you can always count on for a laugh, a good time, or a memory you’ll never forget. Every outing with him ends with a story to tell, and he has one of the coolest lores out there — just ask him about his past jobs in Alaska. He’s the kind of friend whose presence makes everything better, and I’m grateful to have him in my life.
Bridesmaid
As my oldest friend, Demi and I have shared so many chapters of life together. No matter how far apart we’ve been, we’ve always shown up for one another. We’ve walked through breakups, survived French 1 & 2, early-morning swim practices, ghosts, and the occasional hangover. And while mile 18 of our COVID marathon walk almost tested our limits (you can ask Demi about that), it never tested our friendship. Demi is one of the strongest people I know—not because she was a college athlete, but because of the grace and resilience she’s shown in the face of everything life has thrown at her. Her loyalty, her love, and her steady presence are the reasons our friendship has lasted and grown the way it has. Even as we’ve both changed over the years, we’ve learned how to support each other better, and that’s something I carry with me into my relationship with Simon. When I think about high school, my favorite memories almost always include Demi. And when I imagine my wedding day, she has always been there too—standing by my side. My ride-or-die, the coolest chick I know, and someone I am endlessly grateful to call my friend.
