Til the wheels fall off

It was the end of summer 2016 when we were both invited to a casual dinner hosted by a mutual friend, not knowing that this seemingly ordinary night would change our lives forever. Introduced quickly, we didn’t think much of it at first but instead we both went about our night separately. After dinner, a group of us decided to head out to a local bar to hang out. The atmosphere was light, the conversation easy, but it was nothing more than a fun night with a group of friends—at least that’s what we thought at the time. We exchanged a few words, shared some laughs, but that was it. We later went for coffee on our first official date. It was at a cozy little café where something clicked. As we talked about our lives, our hopes, and our dreams, it became clear that this wasn’t just any coffee date. We left knowing, somehow, that we would spend the rest of our lives together. Not long after we started dating, our relationship became long distance, but we knew in our hearts that we were meant to be. We traveled, had our share of adventures, and made countless memories, always keeping each other close, no matter the miles in between. Fast forward to 2022, Simon moved back to Texas, and we made Houston our home together. Now, in 2025, after all the adventures, the highs and lows, we’re ready to take the next step toward our “Happily Ever After.”
