Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invitation specified “and guest,” then no, we don’t have you down for a plus one.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Unfortunately our wedding is adults only. We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes but we hope you see this as the perfect weekend away.

What is the ceremony + reception dress code?

Answer

Formal- It is summertime in the south of France, so it might be hot… but we will have plenty of shade, parasols and refreshments! Ladies - please keep in mind that the ceremony will be on gravel and grass.

Will there be transportation to and from the venue on the wedding day?

Answer

Due to our numbers being a lot less we will not be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue. There is plenty of car parking available at the venue if you have hired a car and wish to drive to the venue and leave your car overnight and get a taxi home.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Will you be offended if we can’t make it?

Answer

Of course not. We understand that the distance factor is limiting as well as the fact we have had to change to mid week dates and that Covid is still present. Please just send us back your ‘RSVP’ to let us know.

Will there be towels provided for the pool party?

Answer

We advise that you bring your own. However we can hire some for 4 euros each. If you would like us to organise a hire of a pool towel please let us know and we can arrange for this.

How does COVID testing work in Bordeaux?

Answer

Bordeaux airport are offering free of charge tests for those who can provide proof of flight. Please see link https://www.bordeaux.aeroport.fr/en/news-updates/covid-19-testing-travellers-airport. If you are flying in on the Monday and flying out on the Wednesday/Thursday it would seem advisable to do a test when you land. There is also a pharmacy a 1 minute drive/ 15 minute walk from the Chateau that does antigen tests for 25 euros and the results are provided within 15-30minutes.
