We always track our flights on Google Flights and purchase our flights anytime the price falls in the "low" category; we encourage you to do the same. Roundtrip fares from the Bay Area usually range from $600-$1,200, depending on when you purchase
This is a totally fair concern! But like any major international destination, it’s important to be mindful and take some basic precautions. You’ll be staying in Ipanema, one of the safest and most tourist-friendly neighborhoods in Rio, and the wedding is in Niterói, which is more relaxed and residential. We’ve personally spent lots of time in both and feel completely safe. All who have traveled with us to Brazil have expressed how they don't understand why I tried to instill the fear of God into them so much. Here are a few tips to help you feel more comfortable: -Use Uber to get around -Avoid wearing flashy jewelry or watches, and keep your phone tucked away when not in use -Stay in groups at night -Ask us or Karina's Brazilian family if you're unsure about anything, we're happy to help!
